MA adopted CCSS in 2010, blended with pre-existing (pre-2010) Massachusetts frameworks into the 2010 Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for Math and ELA/Literacy. Revised again in March 2017 into the current 2017 Frameworks, which then-Commissioner Mitchell Chester described as 'the Commonwealth's own' standards (not simply rebranded Common Core), though they retain much CCSS structure/content. No further revision to Math or ELA frameworks has been adopted since 2017.

Repealed

Adopted CCSS 2010 within the Alabama College- & Career-Ready Standards; 2019 board vote ended Common Core - replaced by 2019 Math COS (eff. 2021-22) and 2021 ELA COS (eff. 2022-23).
